This is an enhancement I’ve really wanted to see: SmartForms Rules in version 4.6.9 now have name and description properties. Much like comments in code, these should be immensely helpful for developers new to a project who have to figure out what rules do what.

The new SmartForms User Guide depicts an added button on the rule definition toolbar which shows a “speech bubble.” Clicking the icon brings up a comment window. These windows may be added to describe events, conditions, and actions — potentially giving a developer a very detailed description of the whats and whys of rules.
